# Error updating plugins – cannot remove old plugin

 * We’re getting an error when trying to update our plugins.
 * Notice: Error reading channel data in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/ssh-sftp-
   updater-support/phpseclib/Net/SSH2.php on line 2361
 * It was working previously but we had to make some server changes, namely changing
   the folder owner from “apache” to “nginx”. Not sure if that is the reason or 
   not.

 * This appears to have been an issue with the facl’s on our server. Once permissions
   were corrected the issue resolved.
