 * Trying to install this plugin, I read “You need to upgrade your database to continue.”–
   Ok, I click on the Upgrade button, but I get “Page no found” message and then
   it keeps on loading forever. On the url bar I read “www.***.it/wp-admin/edit-
   comments.php?page=disqus&step=”

 * I have tested but couldn’t reproduce the error that you are facing!
 * Can you try again? If that doesn’t work, please try to install official Disqus
   plugin. Then activate our plugin after deactivating official plugin

 * I received the same message. I ran the database upgrade using the official disqus
   plugin and then switched to DCL.

 * Hi syedfahad63,
 * Try again and if that happens again, do as I suggested above. Switch back to 
   official Disqus plugin and do the upgrade. Then switch back to our plugin.
