# Error Uploading New Theme

 * Hi there, I’m having an issue updating my theme in my dashboard and I can’t seem
   to figure out what the issue is. Every time I try to upload the .zip file I get
   the “Are you sure you want to do this” error.
 * I’m wondering if it’s a max upload size issue, mine is set to 20mb and the theme
   install file is 24mb, aka is this a “not enough local storage limit issue”. I’ve
   tried to compress it further to make it smaller but if this isn’t the issue, 
   I’m not sure what is. I just migrated my site to a new server and haven’t ever
   had an issue updating my theme before. It’s Salient 7.6 I’m trying to update 
   it to 8.5. I’m trying to figure out another way or look for help in updating 
   this theme. I’ve reached out to my host for ftp access as well, but hoping there’s
   a workaround. Thanks!

 * Hi there, the problem is my site was just migrated over and a friend runs my 
   hosting so I don’t have access to the FTP. At this point I’m trying to compress
   this theme .zip folder down to under 20mb to see if that works.
