# "Error validating access token" – continuous

 * Suddenly, publishing a post doesn’t get it amplified on Facebook. Instead, I 
   get an error message that includes this line: “Error validating access token:
   The session has been invalidated because the user has changed the password.”
 * Well, I haven’t changed the password.
 * In any case, I disconnect Facebook in my user profile, connect it again (and 
   it authenticates with Facebook), but still this error message.
 * Only started doing this today.
 * Any ideas on fixing it? Thanks!

 * I am also having this issue that I have not had before. Here is the message
 * Facebook: (Error validating access token: Session has expired on Jun 20, 2014
   11:26pm. The current time is Aug 1, 2014 2:06pm.)
 * I have the latest mailchimp version.
 * Anyone know what is up?

 * I have this happen on a regular basis. I end up disconnecting and reconnecting
   my account about 30 or 40 times and then sometimes, magically, it starts working
   again. I’ve reported this before and Mailchimp never replies. The same is also
   true for a lot of other users.
 * So the good news is, you’re not alone. The bad news is, there’s no simple fix.
   Or even a logical fix. If I had hair to pull out, I would.
 * Sadly, Social is a great enough plug-in that when it works I love it, and I haven’t
   found something else that works quite as well. Or rather, that does when it’s
   working properly. If I could find a good enough alternative, I’d probably ditch
   Social in favor of something that worked 100% of the time…

 * I’m very sorry you’re having this problem. I believe that you’re experiencing
   this and I’m sure it is very frustrating. I hope you will, in turn, believe that
   we cannot reproduce this problem and that we would fix it if we could. If you
   are able to debug the problem, identify it, and provide a fix please open a pull
