 * I suspect that initial message might be because you’re on PHP 7.4 – there’s a
   patch for that here: [https://github.com/Simple-Press/simple-press/commit/e56ee76a06c2ac07735947b5a934606308c3fcd9](https://github.com/Simple-Press/simple-press/commit/e56ee76a06c2ac07735947b5a934606308c3fcd9)
 * If you’re comfortable replacing files via FTP you can just replace the file in
   your system with the one in the path.
 * Or you can switch to PHP 7.3 if your host allows for it.
 * We’ll be pushing an update sometime later this month with this patch in it.
