# Error when activating plugin on local server

 * I just installed the PDF Embedder plugin (v4.6.4).
    When I activated it I received
   an error message indicating ‘**plugin could not be activated because it triggered
   a fatal error**‘. I then deactivated it and reactivated it again. Alas, I still
   received the same ‘fatal error’ message. However, much to my surprise and delight,
   the associated widget to insert a PDF (from the media library) in a post using
   Guetenberg) seemed to work flawlessly. Any thoughts or suggestions for troubleshooting?

   Memory limit: 512M …. Wordpress version: 6.0.2 Wordpress Memory limit: 164M Wordpress
   Max Memory limit: 512M …. Theme: Astra
