# Error when generating a feed

 * Hello,
 * I have been using this plugin for over 2 years without any issues until now. 
   When manually generating a feed (the same occurs with automatic generation), 
   WordPress returns an error and sends an email notification.
 * The feed output also displays the following error: “This page contains the following
   errors: error on line 15663 at column 22: Encoding error.”(Please click **Link
   to the page you need help with:** to see the feed)
 * Here’s the output from the email I received:

 * We aren’t able to replicate this but I’ve raised this with our developers so 
   we can take a closer look at the issue.
 * Though, I can try and guess a fix. Can you please try this and see if it works:
   [https://we.tl/t-l0KqzGgI3j](https://we.tl/t-l0KqzGgI3j) . Also, please ensure
   to test out in a **Staging site first** as it may crash your live site.
   Note:
   that you may need to deactivate the currently installed Prod Feed Pro Before 
   activating the provided hotfix version.
