# Error when I run the install script

 * I get an error when I try and do Step5: Run the Install Script.
 * The error returned is 500 Internal Server Error

 * Can I figure this out without help form my server guy?

 * I just went through that link you posted and now see that I don’t have a .htaccess
   file. Yes, I’ve made sure to check see hidden files in my ftp client.
    My administrator
   only allows me access to one file on the server. Could it be that they didn’t
   set up the file correctly with permissions and everything?
