# Error when object cache is enabled

 * We recently started using the Redis Object Cache plugin and noticed a problem
   when editing posts.
 * What happens: I’m logged in as user ‘x’ and created a new post, but before saving
   I selected that the author will be user ‘y’. If after some time I edit this same
   post, the user ‘x’ is automatically selected as the author instead of keeping
   the author ‘y’. After investigating the problem, I realized that it was related
   to the Object Cache. When I disable this cache through the Redis Object Cache
   plugin, the problem doesn’t happen anymore.
 * I recorded my screen showing how the error happens, is there any email I can 
   send the video? I recorded with Loom.

 * We’ve seen a lot of these new object caches rolling out recently. These implementations
   are tricky to debug because their often very dependent on the specific hosting.
