# Error when running scan

 * When trying to run a malware scan, I receive the following error:
 * Error happens: spbc_scanner_count_files__by_status query error
 * Please advise.

 * Please, make sure that you are using the latest plugin version (the guide is 
   the same for the Anti-Spam and Security Plugins):

 * Then scan your website files again.

 * Yes, it’s the latest version, and automatic updates are enabled. Still getting
   the error. 🙁 Could it be a server issue?
