Error when sending with HTML content type

    I configured a form to use HTML content type. It worked until yesterday. As of today users submitting the form get an error message (red border): “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later”.

    As soon as I disable HTML content type for the form, everything works fine. When I enable it again, the error appears again.

    I even removed every HTML code (only a short text) but the error persist when HTML content type enabled.

    Any glue?

    Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Classic Editor, Flamingo, and Yoast SEO.

    Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    I decided to go with non html forms for some time. I assume it’s a conflict with another plugin but I hesitate disabling all plugins ant the theme for now. So I will try again in 3 – 4 weeks if it works again with html. Thanks for your support.
