# Error when submitting form

 * I recently added the Visual Form Builder to my WordPress site. I have the form
   completed and went to test it to ensure it’s working before we launch the site.
   However, when I get the form filled out and hit the submit button I get a message
   that says “This field is required and cannot be empty”. I do not have any of 
   the fields marked as required. I have triple checked everything and can’t seem
   to figure out what I am doing wrong as to why I am getting that message. Since
   none of the fields are marked as required, I am not sure what it could be. Any
   thoughts?

 * Hard to say without a link to the form. Most likely your theme isn’t properly
   loading the JS files needed to perform validation and it’s defaulting to server-
   side validation.

 * Looks like you have some fields with no name. Add names to those and it’ll be
   easier to tell which field is throwing the error.

 * Looks like that was the issue all along. You need to make sure all fields have
   a name in them. Some of my section’s did not have a name with them – Once I added
   a name and filled out the form again, it worked! Easy fix!
