Hello. πŸ™‚ First, my username might be somewhat deceptive, as I’m not so much new to wordpress, as I have a wordpress.com blog, but I’m new to ww.wp.xz.cn.

I’d like to import my wordpress.com blog to my ww.wp.xz.cn blog. So I exported my wp.com blog to an xml file.

When I tried to import it to my wp.org blog, I got the following message:

Sorry, there has been an error.

The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/a9554068/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/uploads.

I tried just uploading the file directly into said directory via my web host’s file manager, but that doesn’t seem to be importing, even though the file is now listed in the directory.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

Assign 755 recursive permissions to wp-content directory with the help of your web developer which will resolve the case.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

    Thanks. πŸ™‚

It actually was 755, but I got it to work at 777.
