# Error while compiling CSS – Events not displaying properly

 * This plug-in worked until the recent upgrade. Now my events are plain text and
   non-formatted ([http://www.azhdi.com/calendar/](http://www.azhdi.com/calendar/)).
 * I tried to enable a different theme and receive a compile error:
    All-in-One 
   Event Calendar: There was an error while compiling CSS. The message returned 
   was: variable @calendarTitle is undefined in file /home3/azhdicom/public_html/
   wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/public/themes-ai1ec/vortex/less/
   user-variable-map.less in user-variable-map.less on line 31, column 33 29| @dropdown-
   link-hover-bg: @dropdownLinkBackgroundHover; 30| @input-color-placeholder: @placeholderText;
   31| @calendar-title-color: @calendarTitle; 32| @today-color: [@todaycolor](https://wordpress.org/support/users/todaycolor/);
   33| @allday-badge-color: @alldayBadgeGradientMiddle; 34| @event-image-shadow:
   @eventImageShadow;
 * I deleted and reinstalled the plug-in and still the same.
 * Please advise.

 * Please try: Dashboard -> Events -> Theme Options and hit Save Options (this regenerates
   the CSS).

   This solution did absolutely nothing for me.

 * [@ianeric](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ianeric/), have you tried to increase
   your PHP memory limit? Open your wp-config.php which is located in the root WordPress
   directory. Then add the following lines:
 *     ```
       define('WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');
       ini_set('memory_limit','128M'
       ```

 * Trying to give this a bump since my Time.ly calendar is currently unusable until
   the memory limit issue is solved. I have confirmed that I actually do have plenty
   of php memory, so the issue is somewhere within the plugin. Hoping for an update
   soon?
