 * What I feel is it’s not able to pull image url from the page?

 * Can you please check if you have “use NGG image info” enabled?
    If it is enabled
   please disable it.
 * It should not be possible to enable it while using native galeries.
    I will take
   this on my list.

 * “Use NGG/NCG data for image description” was not enabled. I will check if there
   is any other checkbox elsewhere

 * Okay, maybe an issue with the dialog.
    So please try: Set gallery to NextGenGallery
   Set Use NGG/NCG data for image description. Save it. Disable Use NGG/NCG data
   for image description Save it Switch to WordPress gallery Save it

 * If this doesn’t work please try changing line 645 in wpg_func.php to
 * `if ( !$wpg_options['wp-greet-gallery']=='wp' and $wpg_options['wp-greet-show-
   ngg-desc'] and isset($nggdb)) {`
 * I can not reproduce the problem but hope checking for the gallery will solve 
   this for everyone
