# Error while sending email

 * Hello,
 * I’ve configured a backup job to e-mail the backup. Strangely, while the plugin**
   can** e-mail the log file, it cannot e-mail the backup. This did work with an
   earlier version of the plugin.
 * The message in the log is simply “ERROR: Error while sending email!” with no 
   other details.
 * Any clues on how I could troubleshoot this?
