# Error while sending QUERY packet.

 * I get the following error when installing The Events Calendar on my website. 
   Any one know what this means and how to fix?

   experienced with version 4.2–we’ve just pushed an update to version 4.2.1 that
   should help to resolve these issues. Would you mind updating and following up

 * Hi Caroline! Thanks for following up. I updated to 4.2.1, but unfortunately still
   getting the same error (with a different PID)

 * P.S. The plugin seems to work fine after I activate it, even though I get the
   error.

 * Very strange!
 * Would you be willing to try manually re-installing the plugin instead? We have
   some helpful steps on how to do that here:
