# Error with Endpoint

 * Hello,
   I have the error messages “Due to your server or website configuration
   it is not possible to track statistics.” and “Error checking tracking status”
 * But the file burst-statistics-endpoint.php is in the root and I checked the permissions.
 * I dont know, why the error is still there.
 * Any ideas, what the problem can be?

 * Hello Hessel,
 * The website has not yet been openly published and is protected by a password 
   at the moment. Maybe that’s the reason, but other stats plugins still work.
 * I will observe and test this when the website is online.

 * We’ve seen that behavior before. I’m pretty sure the tracking will work fine 
   when the site is published.
 * Let me know if that’s not the case and we’ll try to resolve the issue.
