# Error With “Exclude posts already displayed” Code

 * I noticed our error log was filling up. I see this error pointing to our functions
   file.
 * > PHP Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /wp-content/themes/
   > hemingway-child/functions.php on line 1013
 * On that line we have the “[Exclude posts already displayed](https://displayposts.com/2019/01/03/exclude-posts-already-displayed/)”
   code. The code works fine on our page, but I would like to know what we can do
   to clear up the error.

   resolves the issue?

 * Great job Bill. No errors after 30 minutes with the new code. It was popping
