 * Hi – I am receiving this error message when I check the installation of Google
   Optimize: Analytics pageview not detected
 * This page isn’t sending pageview hits to your Google Analytics property configured
for this experiment. You won’t be able to measure usage of your site or monitor
performance of Optimize experiments. Make sure that your Analytics tracking code(
either analytics.js or gtag.js ) is set up correctly.

I have a new website, futbolstudio.com, using WordPress that I recently created
a Google Analytics account and Google Optimize account. I just installed the
Google Site Kit plugin and I see that both of these accounts are connected. There
is no data available yet from Google Analytics. How do I fix the error so that
I can start the Google Optimize experiment? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Ferror-with-google-optimize%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@drewmaker](https://wordpress.org/support/users/drewmaker/),
 * Thanks for reaching out. When you perform a check from within Optimize can you
share whether you have you’re logged into your website as an administrator? I
ask as the default setting of the Site Kit placed Analytics snippet [doesn’t include logged in traffic](https://i.imgur.com/FebgBDg.png),
and therefore doesn’t fire for administrator roles. This can result in a failed
Analytics check from Optimize. You’ll find the setting to change this under “
_Site Kit > Settings > Connected Services > Analytics > Edit_“, from within your
   WordPress dashboard.
 * In order to ensure the check passes and you can complete an Optimize, experiment
please ensure you are either not logged in when performing a snippet check, or
please set the option within Site Kit to include to ensure [all traffic is counted](https://i.imgur.com/pdwM8bf.png).
 * Let me know how you get on with the above. If you already do have the setting
applied to count all logged in traffic let me know and we can perform some additional
   troubleshooting.
 * [@natosoares](https://wordpress.org/support/users/natosoares/) Can you also check
your Analytics settings within the plugin, if using a Site Kit placed Analytics
snippet? Or alternatively log out of your site and perform a checked as a non
   logged in user.
 * If the same occurs please [open an individual support topic](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/google-site-kit/#new-post)
and we’d be happy to assist further.

Just following up with you to check whether you’ve since been able to successfully
perform an Optimize check using the suggestions above?
