# Error with my theme

    At the
   bottom of each post there is a little question mark. I dont’ know why or what
   this error is… (I think it has to do with trackbacks but I”m not sure.) Any ideas
   how to fix this so my site will validate?
 * And on a site note… on the links I don’t want the category link headers to have
   an image header like the rest… how do I change this?

 * Check your `index.php` in your theme folder. I bet you accidentally put a `?`
   in there.
 * You also have some characters like `þ` that are making your page invalid: [http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//www.whereisjenny.com/](http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//www.whereisjenny.com/)

 * I deleted that weird character in the index page.
 * Didn’t find a loose ? in there though…. and its still showing up…

 * Well it’s gotta be there I’d think. Look after your category output in The Loop.
   It should be right there.
 * If you still can’t find it, make a copy of your index.php and rename it to index.
   phps (so I can view the source) and maybe I can find the problem.

 * I found the line of code that was producing the ? and deleted it… it had to do
   with my trackbacks so hopefully i didn’t need it…
 * There are still a few errors that are keeping the site from validating and I 
   cna’t figure them out.
