 * In attempting to use the Optimizely plugin for headline testing I needed to add
   the post_id to the link tags (anchor tags). When I called this element it didn’t
   populate anything.
 * I am using the Elegant Theme Vertex on WordPress 4.4.2. I am not using post_id
   in the URL but using: [http://www.domain.com/post-name](http://www.domain.com/post-name)
 * What is the correct tag to pull this information, and is there some reason WordPress
   would not have saved this data?

 * Hi, Brett,
    sorry to hear about the challenges of connecting WordPress and Optimizely.
   I saw you cross-posted to Optimizely’s community Optiverse as well. One of my
   team members will review and get back to you latest Monday. Please let me know
   if you have further questions. Best regards, Holger Tamm Head of Technical Support
   @ Optimizely
