 * Hello!
 * I have installed this plugin few days ago. Yesterday, I tried to test my page
   with PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix, but it couldn’t be performed because of
   some error. I checked my “Website health status”, and there was SEO error “An
   error occurred while checking whether your site can be found by search engines”.
 * I contacted my hosting provider immediately to check and solve it, but their
   response was that in wp-admin file there is PHP fatal error caused by Asset CleanUp
   plugin. They suppose that the causes of this error might be error in plugin code
   or incompatibility of plugin code with PHP version I’m using.
 * I’m asking you for help! Should I delete this error in wp-admin or uninstall
   plugin or?

 * [@nomadserb](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nomadserb/) thanks for reporting
   a potential bug! I’m looking forward to checking this!

 * If there’s a fatal error caused by Asset CleanUp, what’s the actual error? Can
   you copy and paste it here (you can hide sensitive information like your website
   domain if you wish)?
 * > _Should I delete this error in wp-admin or uninstall plugin or?_
 * From my understanding, the fatal error happens within the Dashboard. When you’re
   saying “delete this error”, are you referring to the error_log file that is stored
   within _/wp-admin/_ directory? Please send me that file (or its contents) privately
   via [https://www.gabelivan.com/contact/](https://www.gabelivan.com/contact/)

 * Gabe, thank you for quick response!
 * I sent you file content privately.
 * I hope for you prompt reply.

 * [@nomadserb](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nomadserb/) thanks for writing
   to me on private with details about this error. Although it’s harmless for the
   front-end view (your visitors will never see it nor trigger it to be logged)
   and it’s only logged to **error_log** it can be frustrating, indeed! So, I’ve
   updated the development version of Asset CleanUp and you can download a file
   that can be replaced on your website here: [https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/export/2304469/wp-asset-clean-up/trunk/classes/Update.php](https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/export/2304469/wp-asset-clean-up/trunk/classes/Update.php)
 * Just log via SFTP or via the plugin editor within the Dashboard (if you can do
   that) and replace the version of /classes/Update.php with the one I just mentioned.
   It should fix this. A new tag will be released soon that will have the fix, but
   until then (e.g. it could take a few days), you can have it fixed by doing the
   replacement.
