# Errors reporting in Google Structured Data testing tool

 * I’ve noticed that on new and existing article “posts” (not pages) I am getting
a dozen “error messages” within the “WebPage” area of the Google Structured Data
   Testing Tool.
 * When I view the error report, it is pointing to the post with “/top” added to
   the actual post, i.e.: [https://dotorgwebworks.org/post-test/top](https://dotorgwebworks.org/post-test/top)
 * Should I be concerned about this? Or, is there a way I can fix this? I’m pretty
sure this is a result of your new plugin upgrade. (By the way, the schema markup
feature is a big help and glad that you’ve added this into your plugin. That
is, if it doesn’t mess up my Google ranking. 🙂 )
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Ferrors-reporting-in-google-structured-data-testing-tool%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Do you have any other plugins installed that might also be adding Structured
   Data?

 * Yes. (I thought I had followed up on this post, but it must be somewhere else.)
Anyway, it appears that the new Yoast SEO plugin is adding structured data within
the Search Appearance section. They have provided instructions on how to disable
   their tool at: [https://www.bybe.net/yoast-seo-guide-disable-schema-json-ld-wordpress/](https://www.bybe.net/yoast-seo-guide-disable-schema-json-ld-wordpress/).
 * I’ll try later today or before end of week to see if disabling Yoast schema and
re-activating your plugin works for me.
 * Thanks for following up.

 * I found the problem. It is within the (Enfold) theme that I use. When I add a
shortcode (generated from Avia Layout Builder, a feature within the Enfold theme)
into a widget that goes to my Footer area, it creates an “<Article Class>” that(
I think) confuses Json. So for now, it does not appear to be a Yoast issue.
 * I’ll let you know how this works out (for those other Enfold users).

 * Thanks for the update [@laptophobo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/laptophobo/).
We’re glad you were able to figure out the issue. Tagging this post as resolved.
