# Errors when activating plugin

 * I’ve installed and activated Clean Login, but as soon as I’ve done that, it shows
   this two errors:
 * Warning: session_start(): open(/var/lib/php5/sess_8vsgbj4qvov27ag0i1hshsp062,
   O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in /htdocs/public/www/wordpress-
   qah/wp-content/plugins/clean-login/clean-login.php on line 523
 * Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already
   sent (output started at /htdocs/public/www/wordpress-qah/wp-content/plugins/clean-
   login/clean-login.php:523) in /htdocs/public/www/wordpress-qah/wp-content/plugins/
   clean-login/clean-login.php on line 523
 * Any hint about what can I do?

 * I’ve tried the solution you gave in that post (as the captcha option was disabled),
   but that didn’t solve anything. Is there anything else I could try?

 * Could you please try to disable any other plugin? In order to detect if it does
   exist a collision.

   doesn’t seem to be that the problem.

 * Any other hosting? Or localhost?
 * As I told you in my first message it seems to be an issue with your hosting and
   shared data. The error is inside the session_start PHP function, which is a well-
   know and used function everywhere.

 * Today I updated the plugin to the latest version and it solved the error. However,
   I think what you told me can cause a problem at some point, so I’ll keep that
   in mind just in case.

 * Wow! I didn’t know you were using an old version of the plugin… Anyway is now
   working, this is maybe a bug fixed sometime ago (I cannot remember all)
