# Errors when installing new themes?

 * I am trying to activate a wordpress theme i installed via FTP. Everything was
   fin but i get the Following error messege when i try to activate the theme. Also
   when i try to actually install it through wordpress it tells me the theme exceeds
   the upload limit.
 * **Parse error:** syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘ in /hermes/bosweb26b/b2107/ipg.
   elcharrosnet/skyharborresort/wp-content/themes/guesthouse/functions.php on line
   1
 * Please Help???

 * This means that the theme is incorrectly written. It could also happen if the
   theme files got corrupted during transfer. Try deleting all the file then upload
   again through ftp. If this doesn’t work try installing another theme to make 
   sure it’s not a problem with your setup.
