# Errors when uploading style sheet?

 * I keep getting this when I try to update the style sheet:

 * You don’t have the files permissions set correctly to allow you to edit the theme
   files using the theme editor.
 * Use an FTP client like FileZilla, download the files, edit them there using a
   text editor, then upload them again. This is safer in the long run.

   wp-content/uploads/2008/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

 * The “parent” is wp-content.
    You have to make it writable – on Apache you chmod
   777, there must be something similar on win servers, I guess…

 * Make the /wp-content/uploads directory 777 instead. That’s usually good enough.

 * I also get this when i try and load an image:
