# Errors while updating plugin

 * I tried to update BulletProof Security Version.51.8
    to 53.1 I’m getting the 
   errors listed below. I have read that it would be best to include the log in 
   every post. I have selected the security log page. Logging is turned on. Security
   Log Last Modified Time: May 5, 2014 – 8:57 pm I don’t see how to copy the log
   to paste it here. I’m running WordPress 4.4 Win7 32bit IIs 7.5

 * Even though it says all updates have been completed the site is still showing
   Version.51.8
 * Any help would be appreciated.

 * Looks like you have Windows Hosting instead of Linux Hosting. The BPS plugin 
   is designed for Linux Hosting, which is what the majority of folks have/use so
   unfortunately BPS is not compatible with your Windows Hosting.

 * Not relevant in this case because the type of hosting you have is not compatible
   with BPS. BPS is designed for Apache Linux hosting, which around probably 90%
   or more folks use/have. At some point we will probably make BPS compatible with
   Windows Hosting, but that could take a year or more to happen. So you will not
   be able to use BPS on your type of hosting account at this time. Sorry.
