 * Hi Everyone,
 * I’m using the Esquire theme- heavily edited on oicmoments.com. I’ve recently
   installed the Hover-It Pinterest plug in, but I want to change the code in it
   so that I can send the image caption instead of the page title or the image alt
   text to Pinterest at the image description. Unfortunately, changing the code
   to “caption” hasn’t proven to be the correct solution. Does anyone know what
   the code is for the captions and if what I want to do is even possible?
 * Thanks,
    Emily

 * This is where I got it: [http://wordpress.org/plugins/hover-pin-it/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/hover-pin-it/)

 * For problems with the plugin, post it here:

 * BTW, you should not directly edit the Esquire theme. Instead create a child theme
   for your customizations.

 * I did post there and I contacted the developer. I was hoping someone more familiar
   with Esquire might be able to direct me on what the comments code is so that
   I can edit the plugin myself since I’m stuck.
 * Based on what I’m looking at today, I think it might be: % Comments
 * I’m using a Child Theme. 🙂

 * You don’t need to edit any code. The plugin’s description page says:
 * > Choose the page title or the image alt text as the pin description
 * A well written page title or alt tag can work very well for you. It’s not the
   theme that does the job (from where you want to pick up the caption), but the
   plugin does the job. If you still want the plugin to pick up the caption, maybe,
   you have to edit the plugin’s code which is a bad idea as you will lose all edits
   when you update the plugin, and possibly create other problems.

 * I want the caption because it includes the copyright information for the image,
   and the alt text does not. Since there are multiple images on a page, I don’t
   want to use the page title either.
 * I am trying to edit the plugin code. I realize that any updates made by the developer
   will overwrite what I’ve done if I do an update. I just want to see if it’s possible
   to actually make the caption the caption of the photo, and to do that, I’m trying
   to figure out what Esquire theme calls the caption in code.
