Even the demo doesn't work

So I downloaded the free version to give it a test…and from the obnoxiously “beginners only” home screen, the only way to access creating a new deck is by using “Click the create button above”. Except on a Mac (OS X, 10.9.2) there is no create button visible. Even hovering in the area looking for something invisible but still clickable produces nothing.

I’m sure not buying a product whose free version, designed to “sell” me, won’t even get started on my Mac. Disappointing because I had heard such good things, but as the song says, c’est la vie, said the old folks–it goes to show you never can tell.
