Hey @joranvanliempt
How did your events came to be? Did you import them from somewhere? Or did you create them manually?
Here’s the rundown:
WP: Amsterdam
TEC: site-wide
Event is UTC 12:00pm
Then on the front-end the event should show up at 14:00
WP: Amsterdam
TEC: manual

Does this help?

Hej András,
thank you for taking some time to look into this 😃
These events were made manually 😃
I now changed the settings to: “USE MANUAL TIMEZONES FOR EVERY EVENT”
seems this solved the problem for now.
but still get the message:
When using The Events Calendar, we recommend that you use a geographic timezone such as “America/Los_Angeles” and avoid using a UTC timezone offset such as “Europe/Amsterdam”.
Choosing a UTC timezone for your site or individual events may cause problems when importing events or with Daylight Saving Time. Read more
You should be able to dismiss that message, but it’s odd that it would display if you are using geographic timezones such as Europe/Amsterdam everywhere.
Is there anything else you can tell us about your site…is it a multisite network, for instance, or just a ‘regular’ site? Also, do you have any custom code running in your theme or elsewhere that might be confusing things?
