# Event Permalink not found

 * I have events published and a permalink defined, however when accessing the [permalink URL](http://freecoast.org/events/event/)
   I get a “not found” prompt.

 * Have you enabled permalinks in the WordPress settings, [http://freecoast.org/?post_type=event](http://freecoast.org/?post_type=event)
   works, so its definitely a rewrite issue!

 * Where can I enable it? I went to Settings > Permalinks and don’t see anything
