# Event post post type

 * In the settings of the plugin there is a setting for “Which post types can be
   events?” and I can select “Event post”, but I don’t have a custom post type “
   Event post”. (I had several different event plugins active before)
 * I’d love to have not all posts being potential events but either have it’s on
   post type or only have posts with category “event” the events structure.
 * Any hints on how to solve this?

 * Hi, this si not a bug. the purpose of Event-Post is to use native posts as events.
   There is tons of plugins which come with their own post-type.
 * The event-post post type only aims at manage sub-events. This is why it’s not
   shown in the UI.
 * In fact, we could hide it from the post-type list in settings.
