# event posts not saving

 * My event posts are not saving at all. I create the post save then try to view
   post and it says post does not exist. Not only that but the location and venue
   in formation, and date does not keep on the post in the back end even. This must
   be a compatibility issue with theme or another plugin? I cannot use the event
   calendar plugin it looks like? Was considering purchasing.

 * I wonder if the issue still persists?
    If so, could you please run a [conflict test](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/)
   to see if wwe can narrow down the search for a conflict with theme or other plugin?

 * yes I was never able to get the plugin to work. I turned all plugins off and 
   changed theme to wordpress 2019 to test and it still didn’t work.
