 * I’m locally testing the [events calendar plugin](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/events-calendar/)
to see how well it will work on a [site](http://www.artworksprojects.org) I’m
tweaking. However, the site’s theme (a modified version of the Kubrick) theme
is making the plugin behave oddly, mainly by messing with the CSS and core functionality.
 * I think the plugin can work well with the site if I can sequester the plugin
from the site’s main css. Is that a bad idea? Should I just look for another
   plugin instead?
 * Any advice or insight would be appreciated.

 * Personally, I’d look at either amending the theme’s CSS to make it more specific
or adding new CSS to take the plugin into account.
