Events Manager and Post Carousel

    I use SiteOrigin Post Carrousel on my Home page to display Last articles ordered by pusblish date (Most recent first). It does work fine.

    I also want to display the Events Manager plugin posts in the Post Carousel by Events Date. But no matter what I do they always appear in publish date (oldest first). I try the different Order in the Built Post Query (including By Meta Value and By Numeric Meta Value) but it always list in Publish date.

    Any idea how I could make it appear in Events date order?

    BTW, I tested also The Events Calendar and for that plugin Sorted by Numeric Meta Value does work. But I would prefer using Events Manager plugin as I would like to have users post events from the frontend.

    Question to PLUGIN DEVELOPPER:

    Showing Events in “Event Date” order works fine with “The Events Calendar” but not with “Events Manager” plugin (100,000 downloads).

    Would this necessitate a modification to your code (implement same logic for “Events Manager” posts that “Events Calendar” posts) ?
