Events Page

Hi, I am having some troubles with the page that the Events plugin created. First of all, the title of the page is “Events” and I would like to change it to “Shows” I checked all the config pages and I couldn’t find where to do this. Also, when I click on the events page all I see is a post I made about an event, but it’s not what is entered in the Event description and at the top it says Category:Events I want to completey get rid of that and have it show the events not posts from the blog.
