Events Triggered By Mouseover

    Hello,

    I just installed you plugin a few weeks ago so that I could track clicks on my contact forms. The problem is that the events appear to be triggered by someone hovering their mouse over the button, rather than clicking on it. I’m using the built-in Contact Form module within the DIVI theme. Any thoughts on how I can make sure that they only fire on clicks?

    I first noticed this when I saw that there were 11 events in GA but only 3 contact forms in my inbox. When testing the contact form I noticed an event pop up in GA’s realtime events report even though I hadn’t clicked on the submit button. Just hovering the mouse over the submit button seemed to fire the event.

    One thing that may explain the numbers, is that people click the button but have not filled in all the required fields. The plugin will track clicks on the submit buttons but is not aware if it has been submitted successfully.

    I could not reproduce the hover scenario. Can you give me more details about how to see it happen –
    1. OS
    2. Browser
    3. When to mouse over

    Hey Yuval,

    Just tried recreating on a different site and couldn’t. Took a look at it and realized there was an issue with that particular site. Got it fixed and everything works now. Sorry to waste your time!
