Hi @andydis,
To have a better idea of your setup:
- Is this the blocknomics payment plugin you’re using: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/blockonomics-bitcoin-payments/?
- Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Products -> click on the product you have this issue with -> Choose the “Subscriptions Plans” tab -> and send a screenshot from there (please make sure the entirety of the page can be seen)?
- Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Paid Member Subscriptions -> Subscriptions Plans -> and send a full screenshot from there (please make sure all the settings from that page can be seen)?
- Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> WooCommerce -> Orders -> click on the order you have this issue with -> and send a screenshot from there (please make sure the entirety of the page can be seen)?
- Could you please go to the WordPress Dashboard -> Paid Member Subscriptions -> Members page, hover your mouse cursor over the member (with which you have encountered this issue), and click on the Edit Member link that appears? Once you are on the Edit Member page click on the “Edit” button from the Subscription tab, and please take a screenshot of the Subscription Logs and send it to me.
You can see here: https://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/paid-member-subscriptions/member-management/#Subscription_Logs an example of how the Subscription Logs should look.

Hi @andydis,
- For the actual order (with “pending payment”), please click on that order and send a screenshot from there. We’re interested in a screenshot similar to this example. Make sure the entirety of the page can be seen, including the order notes section
- For the PMS Subscription Log, please make sure the screenshot looks like this: https://www.cozmoslabs.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/pms-members_subscription_logs.png. Basically, from the screenshot you’ve previously shared, click further on the membership, and you will see this page. Again, make sure the entirety of the page can be seen (as in the above example).
Note: Again, since this is a public forum please make sure all sensitive/personal information is hidden from the screenshots.
While we still can’t see the full subscription log, like in this example (you further have to click on the “Edit” button that’s next to the membership), I can still see some relevant information.
As you can see, the status of our membership is set to “Pending”, and this is intended to happen. In the majority of cases, we mimic the status of the WooCommerce Order, which in your case is also Pending.
The idea is that if you’ve applied the PMS Content Restriction functionality to your content, then that restricted content will be available only to users with an Active membership. In your case, even if the user has a membership, the status of that membership is set to Pending, and thus they won’t be able to see the restricted content.
Again, all these functionalities are intended, and it is not an issue for the user to have the membership with the Pending status.
thank you for your reply , you say “it is not an issue for the user to have the membership with the Pending status.”
However, please confirm the following
1) whilst the status is “pending payment” the user receives full access to content.
2) the pending payment could fail
3) if both above are true, its possible the user gets access to paid content for free (even if its for a short period)
1) whilst the status is “pending payment” the user receives full access to content.
-> No, this is not true. Only when our membership has the status active does the user get access to the restricted content.
2) the pending payment could fail
-> Yes, this might happen. It depends on the WooCommerce Order the user made and how the crypto gateway is processing their payments.
In this case, they failing of the payment is outside of our plugin control.
3) if both above are true, its possible the user gets access to paid content for free (even if its for a short period)
-> No, since as mentioned in point number 1, users have access to the restricted content only when their membership is active.
Of course, all of the above apply only if you’ve correctly added the PMS Content Restriction functionality to your desired content.
