    Hello,
I noticed that while the plugin is backing up the statistics in the CPanel reach the maximum limit:

    – Number of process: 100%
    – Physical Memory Usage: 90.87%
    – Entry processes: 83.33%

My hosting advised me to contact customer service to fix the problem or to switch plugins. He also wrote me:

“Note that if your account continues generating an excessive number of processes we might be forced to place a restriction on your account, in order to prevent the same from affecting the rest of the clients on the server.”

Since I’ve been using this plugin for a while now, I’d love to change it. So I would like to know if it is possible to fix the problem or if I am forced to change.

Thanks in advance for the answer.

I just migrated to NameHero and immediately maxed out. They wrote to me that “Looking at the Resource Usage section of cPanel, I am seeing that CPU and I/O limits were both reached within the past 24 hours.”

    Hi,

Please note that UpdraftPlus has been designed to be dependent on your server resources to run these process. Best way to resolve the issue to ask your host/server admin to increase your server resources. If not possible, you can restore each component one by one. Just make sure to restore the database last.

    Thanks,

    Hi @bcrodua ,
    Thanks for the reply.
I contacted the customer care of my hosting service and they are available to increase the server resources. But they told me to ask you to provide me with information on exactly what the limits are that need to be raised.

Thanks in advance for the answer.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Please ask your host to increase your server I/O limit, maximum_execution_time and site memory.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle
