 * Hi,
 * I’m a complete newbie however I set up a website using WordPress and the plugin
   Ultimate Member and a few of their extensions.
 * Shortly after the site was live it started having excessive MySQL queries on 
   the server and making the site unresponsive.
 * I would be able to disable the plugins and fix the issue and narrowed it down
   to the UM core plugin. Logging the issue with them resulted in absolutely no 
   result.
 * As time has gone on and the membership grown (around 1200 members) the excessive
   queries have grown until today my hosting company suspended my account as it 
   was impacting their server.
 * _Your account was Connecting over and over to the MySQL service causing problems
   for other users we have suspended the account to stop this.
    20/2/17 – Suspended–
   Caused a MYSQL issue on this node due to excessive SQL queries. 1000’s of these:

   _wp2 | Query | 6693 | Waiting for table flush | SELECT umeta\_id FROM wp\_usermeta
   WHERE meta\_key = ‘birthdate’ AND user\_id = 1
 * Does anyone have any idea where to start in potentially fixing this issue?
 * I had created an exact copy of the site to play around with to try and fix it
   however this test site had no such issue.
 * I don’t know where to go from here…
