# Exclude current post from the Recent Posts

 * Hi,
    I am designing a blogging website samsunguser.com and using standard ‘Recent
   Posts’ widget.
 * I noticed that if I am on home page where I have listed all the posts then why
   do I need this because the information is already there.
 * Now I have a plan to change the setting. I want to include only those posts which
   are not available on the front page. Why do I want to show the same information.
 * Is there any way to exclude the current posts from this widget.
 * I have 8 posts in the front page so I would need information for the next posts
   after this current 8.
 * I am not sure if I have explained the requirement properly
 * On another note – Do we have plugin which can show the next posts or previous
   posts on each post page.

 * closing this as I found another plug-in ‘Special Recent Posts Free, where I could
   skip the number of posts.
