# Exclude dev folders?

 * Hi,
 * would it be possible to exclude dev folder like `.git` or `node_modules` when
   creating a backup? As I want to have them in my local e.g. theme folders I don’t
   want to sync them to the live server.

 * You can exclude folders, files and database tables and exclude by file types 
   with the pro version.

 * Ah I see. I’ll check the product page/help to see if that is enough. Thought 
   it might be a good option to exclude those folders in general. But thanks for
   the quick reply!
