# Exclude posts by State

 * Is it possible to use query_posts to exclude posts by their state, i.e., ‘ Closed’?

 * This will be available in WP 3.1, and the theme will be updated accordingly. 
   Right now there is not support for advanced taxonomy querys.

 * Ah, that’s a shame, it would have been great.
 * Thinking out loud, it could be fairly simple to modify the theme to use tags 
   as states rather than an advanced taxonomy (especially for me as I’ve removed
   the option to use tags).
 * Thanks for helping me get there, and really, really great theme, been such a 
   pleasure to work with. I’d be happily to be of any assistance in development 
   if any is needed.
