# “Exclude Scripts” Not Working

 * I have used Autoptimize on several previous site before with great success. However
   on this site, the excluded JS scripts are not being excluded. Here is exactly
   what I have in the exclude text box:
 * _wp-includes/js/dist/, wp-includes/js/tinymce/, js/jquery/jquery.js, wp-content/
   plugins/modula-best-grid-gallery/, designesia.js_
 * The inclusion of the last three break the slider and the portfolio on the site.
   Anyone know why those are not excluded?
 * On a possibly related note, the site is hosted on Godaddy’s Managed WordPress
   plan, which includes its own caching. I tried removing the caching using [these directions](https://joscor.com/blog/remove-godaddys-wordpress-plugin/),
   but for some reason that left me with a persistent 1 day expiration date on all
   CSS and JS files. Those were removed after I reactivated the GoDaddy caching.
   Not sure if that is relevant.

   minify excluded CSS/JS” misc. option maybe?

 * Ah, a page cache thing, loading the page with a random querystring appended to
   the URL makes Autoptimize appear and the files are excluded correctly so it seems?

 * Fixed it. Turns out I just needed to exclude _jpreLoader.js_. For some reason,
   all my other scripts were depending on that.
