# exec() is not accessible

 * Hi.. I’m testing a new host, which (for security reasons) doesn’t allow exec()
 * Is there any way around this requirement? Or should I look for a different host–
   cause I won’t ditch DG!

 * Hey Bjarne,
 * If they have the IMagick PHP plugin enabled on the host then that can work in
   place of Ghostscript (the thumbnail generator that required `exec` support). 
   If they do not, you probably need a new host.
