 * This is a very helpful plugin. I’ve been successful in using Slide Anything to
   set up two text “slides” on my Home Page; I can change background color, add
   graphics, etc. Here’s the draft web page, with the two slides side-by-side:

   [http://www.ieee-sem.org/egrid/](http://www.ieee-sem.org/egrid/)
 * I’m also using Event Post to expand normal Posts to include event date and allow
   me to show only upcoming (or past) events on my website. Event Post gives me
   this code to put in a page or slider, to display any upcoming events:
    [events_list
   future=”1″ past=”0″ cat=”meeting” nb=5]
 * When I place this code on the Home Page itself, or in a MasterSlider window,
   a listing of five future events is displayed. But when I put it in Slide 1, in
   Slide Anything, it simply prints the text. (You can see the listing on the Home
   Page below the slider slides.)
 * How can I get WP to recognize and execute the Event Post code, from within a
   Slide Anything slide, rather than simply printing it?

 * Hi. Within your ‘Slide Anything’ Slider settings there is a checkbox called ‘
   Allow Shortcodes’. Has this been checked – if not, then please check it.

 * Marvelous! Yes, that solved this issue.
