 * My recent WP install is working OK, but when I activate the Exhibit plug in it
   screws up. I don’t know what’s happening, but here’s the message:

    I can’t see what’s going wrong here.

 * Try going to [asymptomatic.net](http://asymptomatic.net) to the wp-hacks section,
   and download the “1.1d asy” version of exhibit. Install that, and let us know
   your findings.

    Similar problem: getting the same open_basedir errors. Does it work OK
   with 1.5?

 * I’ve installed wp 1.5 and the Exhibit 1.1d (asy) plugin and it works fine. I 
   recall that the first time you use the plugin for the post, you have to click
   the link it gives you on the post page to enable it (not the plugin page).
 * Then it is standard behavior that you have to save the posts first before you
   can add images to it via the Exhibit plugin.
