 * The website: [http://www.brken.com](http://www.brken.com)
 * If you look on the homepage you will see a side bar box called “Don’t Miss”.
   This is a text widget which I am updating manually, what I would like to do is
   automate it a little so it shows says 5 of the latest don’t miss and then link
   to a page that may show a little more information or just the same information
   but all posts for that section.
 * I thought I might be able to create a category and then show it on that side,
   but that didnt work. Anyone got any ideas? Probably a plugin that may do it but
   not sure what to search for.

 * Have you had a look at the Recent Posts widget in Appearance/Widgets.

 * Hi,
 * Yes I have the recent posts section, but that just shows the title of the post
   which is fine.
 * As an idea what im looking to do is something like on this website: [http://www.futuremovies.co.uk/](http://www.futuremovies.co.uk/)
 * See the features section. I see that is just a recent posts link, but I dont
   want to show the latest but just specific posts from a certain category.

 * You could use a [custom query](http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_posts)
   to display these posts or try looking foe a suitable plugin.
