Is your site in a non-English language? There is a known bug with French, which may be related:

There is similar behaviour on Dutch language. But there is more strange behaviour as you will read (datepicker malfunctioning and expiry date going awry upon re-editing the listing).
Clearly a bug crept in since the last upate for some non-English languages.
Hope it can be fixed soon.
